Yo-sh, yo-shhh... my time in Japan starts now..!!^^ Typhoon Number 4 apparantely heard that I was in Tokyo and made a quick diversion out into the Pacific Ocean. I have that effect on people^^ Anyway, just meant there was serious rain and wind. Joy^^ Shame really, in an odd kind of way I was looking forward to my first typhoon, as no strong ones came Tokyo's way in 2005. Ah well... At least I can walk (read: squelch) about without fighting with my umbrella now :) Ah..the relief..!! :)
Seeing as I'm soaked soon after hitting the outside world I decided not to go far today. I did a wonder around Tokiwadai as I dont really know this area too well and I felt like an exploration. Walked along the riverside whilst getting a few bits. Along the way a car stopped at a red light and I began to cross over. I could see 2 girls in the back seat waving and they shouted out "Harrow!!". Embarrassed that despite my new glasses I couldnt see who it was, worried that the blue (read: green) man was flashing and worried that I might know them (but cant see them) I waved back and said a happy hello and carried on. However, the driver proceeded to get out of the car and "Karen-sensei jya nai no? Karen-sensei desu yo ne?" came the next shout from the window
... EH?
I turned around and had a better (closer) look. chotto matte .... Nana-chan!! Narumi-chan!! What a great surprise to see 2 of my most well behaved students randomly on the street so soon after arriving :) Made me day^^
Hopefully I can see more of my students soon, but I reckon most of the 'oldies' have gone now... :(

I take it the car stopped at not the nearest point to you - not the red light next to your foot? If so, OK, but if it was next to your foot, you should see a different opticians!! >< O_O
Nice blog, keep it up. added it to my favourites :)
