大戸屋 ? OOTOYA

Just a quick recommendation as reminded to me from MKT's Ninja Foods website, if you are in Japan, then DO NOT MISS cheap, quality yummy food - Ootoya surely is the best Japanese restaurant in Japan.

Damn do i miss eating Japanese food!! I tried to make onigiri the other day to take to work - >_<>_< It didnt have enough taste. :(

Do like I do, have loads of Japanese friends that always invite me over for dinner. They all seem to love cooking for me maybe they think I'm to skinny. It's really great of them. In return I make cakes and cookies, and no I'm not camp I just know how to cook and bake. hehehehe.

@Nick
- Do you like yoshinoya? Japanese people go crazy for it, but Im not that keen on it (too much fatty meat..) Sure, its cheap and quick, but you might as well pay 2pounds more and go to Ootoya... (I'm biast... sorry) I dont know if there is a Japanese restaurant chain where you live called 'WAGAMAMA'??? Theres loads in London. PLEASE, please, please!! Dont go in there expecting to have yummy Japanese food. The ramen tastes old & the menu is.... :( Theres not many good Japanese restaurants in London (as far as I know..) - except for the expensive Yoisho in Goodge Street, or I've heard Asakusa in Holborn is nice.

When I first went to Japan though - I didnt think much of Japanese food. Even last year when I lived in Japan, I was eating at all the wrong places. I dont like too much fat on meat - something that Japanese seem to like (- true? Why is there so much fat on meat served in Japan??)

But, you cant beat the fish dishes...^^ (just dont look at the head...) !!
