Kyoto Station - a bit like Marmite.

Kyoto Station is a bit like Marmite. You either love it or hate it.

Me, I hate Marmite. But, I like Kyoto Station. Arguably, its the best thing about Kyoto. I know thousands of people will be disagreeing with me. Spend a few hours away from the main tourist attractions of traditional Japan, and just get lost in this huge station. You'll enjoy it I guarantee. (Avoid the department stores though... Leave that for when you plan to shop... Not get lost in stations... Getting lost in Department Stores is a completely different matter... Not so enjoyable...)
