DIY restaurants... = :D

Okonomiyaki, Monjayaki, Shabushabu, Sukiyaki, Yakiniku..... I like DIY restaurants :) Tonight I went to Kushiya, where you can cook your own food. Mainly Agemono (Deep fried food) as you have your own deep fryer at the table, but you can also cook your own udon/soba to your taste and try your hand at doing your own whippy icecream...

3 years ago, when my friend visited me in Tokyo, we went to a similar place. She couldnt work out why you'd spend all that money (approx ￡10) to only go to a restaurant where you don't get waited on and you have to select and cook your own food. 'Why not just do it at home?' she said.

But its fun :)

Guess DIY restaurants wouldn't be a hit in London... ??　：（
