I take back my last post

"Be creative" they say

"Take advice if you think it helps you but essentially you should direct and create your own individualistic work" they say
(Small print: Be creative in the context that if we dont like your work we (we=lecturers) will downgrade it. If you do your own work we will look at it with interest but will not read any text you provide with the work. We will subsiquently downgrade you because we cant read.)

"This course is not only to build your confidence in Graphic Design but also to build up a unique and stunning portfolio" they say
(Small print: We will try our best to crumble up and step on your work as much as possible before returning it. Just to make it look like we've taken an interest.)

"We are always here to listen should you need advice or help" they say
(Small print: We will listen, but as we only have a 3 second memory span expect us to downgrade you because we've forgotten. Oh, and you can only speak to us during certain office hours, being Tuesdays 10-3, Wednesdays 10-12 and Fridays 10-12.)

(Extra small print: I work Tuesdays. I have to work in order to pay the ridiculously high fee's for which I get nothing in return. I have to work as I have to buy all my equipment. Art shops aren't cheap. Wednesdays 10-12? I have classes. Fridays 10-12. I have classes. Funny, thought you would know when your own students are free. Or maybe thats the point. You want to 'seem' helpful, but dont really give a toss. If I skip classes to see you, I get downgraded in the class I skipped...
Life is full of choices. Let me think... which module do I want to be downgraded in the most...?)
