What an idiot...!!

Today I was meeting someone at Uni at 11am. I dont have any classes this week. Or next week. Or even the week after that. (Damn, its a hard life at Uni...!) Last light I set my alarm on my phone to 9.30am.

At 9.30am my mobile vibrates and the noise wakes me up. I must have forgotten to turn it off of vibrate. Without looking, I lean out of bed, grab the phone and press a random button to turn the alarm off. The clock on my wall says 9.30. I put the phone beside me and stretch and yawn. I might've mumbled something like "I really dont want to go in today".

I lie in bed for a minute or so before I decide to get up. I pick the phone up to turn off the alarm completely, otherwise itll go off every 10 minutes. I look at the phone. I blink and look again. It looks like I'm calling someone, or at least, theres someone on the other line..

I scratch my head and say "Hello.."

To my shock someone replies, if a little tentatively.

I suddenly sit up in bed and start to feel like a prat. It wasnt my alarm that went off, it was someone calling me and I answered it, then yawned and stretched, mumbled things, and then... said hello...

...to quite an important person...
