Yup. Im waiting. Got my boss on one side of me, my University hopes on the other. Thing is, its practically September and although I accepted the unconditional offer last week, I havent heard anything yet. I try to call the teachers on the numbers they provide and theres a answer phone message telling me to email them. I email them and I get an altimated reply saying "I will be away from the University until Monday 11 September 2006". Gee, thanks, that helps.
I havent had any confirmation and I cant get in touch with anybody... its driving me insane! I cant hand in my notice until I know for 100% sure that I am going to University otherwise I could find myself in a horrible position. But I have to give a months notice and the course starts in less than a month.

I walked home today. I walked from Liverpool Street to where I live. It took an hour and a half and my legs are now asking me why I put them through it. (!) I needed air. I needed time.
I have to get this place at this University otherwise Im stuffed. I cant take anymore time off from work - that means no more University interviews (probably too late now anyway(?!). I dont know how I'm going to even get my Chinese Visa. (The nice people at the Chinese embassy only open Mon-Fri 9am-noon(ish).... helpful!...) ...The fact I got a 2 week holiday in term time probably wont please the Universiy teachers either... >_<
Now Ive made my mind up I bet its not going to happen.
And there was me thinking I was such an organised person!! >_<

another yippeeeeee - I got a letter from the University today (finally). It wasnt a yes or a no, more of a 'you forgot to fill this out.' I never forgot, I've filled it out twice since contacting the University... Hey, at least I know they are a well organised bunch!^^

You can get some cheap flights out to Korea & Taiwan from Japan... or so I've heard...! I never left Japan when I was there :( Too lazy to apply for a re-entry visa :(
