Watashi ha eigo no sensei jya nai nda yo!!

Can you believe that somehow I managed to get myself into a 'cant back out now' situation - I told someone I taught English in Japan. I did - thats no lie. But what this person didnt know is that any Tom, Dick or Harry can be an English teacher in Japan, the only thing you have to be is a native! What I didnt know was that I was speaking to a fellow teacher - this guy taught Spanish to private students. He had contacts, who contacted me, asking me to 'access their level of English and if relevant, to talk about when and where to teach us and for how much.'

...

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?!

...

Chot-to mat-te yo!!!! I said I was an English teacher in Japan - that was purely to meet people and for the money. Even though Im unemployed right now, the idea of teaching English to foreigners never entered my brain, after all, I might be able to fool people in Japan, who most of the time didnt need teaching, only conversation practise, but Im damn sure I cant fool people here!

dakedo....
I fooled them....
And I could be teaching 4 girls English for 1 hour a week if I wanted. They liked me, and wanted to be taught by me. I must have a good 'teacher' presence about me, cos I sure havent got the 'teacher' brain! The dilemma is: should I take these girls money? Or should I say no and hope they find a proper teacher?

I'll probably say no.
That'd be the 'right' thing to do, right?

but... there is a rebel in me sometimes.... doushiyou!!
