Otaru Feb 2005

I went to Otaru during my 4 day trip to the Sapporo Snow Festival. It was a half-day trip and long enough as it was FREEZING with a wind to kill!! The clock may say on the photo below that the temperature was -6.6, but, add the wind and its below that! The look of Otaru is very European/Russian and just by walking around you can experience the rich past of this now forgotten town.
